Join yoga teachers Morag and Laura for a grounding day retreat designed to support deep rest and nervous system nourishment as we head into the darker half of the year.
This day is for anyone craving a slower pace, time to rest, and space to reconnect with themselves. We’ll create a calm and welcoming environment where you’re encouraged to move at your own rhythm and honour what your body needs.
The schedule includes:
● Opening Circle (with Laura)
An invitation to arrive, settle, and connect with the group.
● Restorative Yoga Practice (90 minutes, led by Morag)
A deeply restful session using props to support the body in stillness. Expect slow transitions, lots of support, and space for quiet inner listening.
● Lunch
● Yoga Nidra (with Morag)
A guided meditation practice sometimes described as ‘yogic sleep’. You’ll be lying down, warm and cosy, with nothing to do but listen.
● Closing Circle (with Laura)
Time to reflect, integrate, and gently transition back into the rest of your weekend.
All props will be provided, and the venue is warm and peaceful. No previous experience of yoga or meditation is needed. We welcome all bodies and levels of ability.
